Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since the age of 13 the singer has been a participant in pop music and flamenco. She also explores different genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. Pepe Habichuela has said that her voice as crisp and sweet but having a bit of bite. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she received the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami collaborated on songwriting with a variety of producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. The release date was the 20th of March, 2022 in the wake of the live performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to have performed in a solo performance on the show. As well as winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
